Scholarships

 

Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. is committed to furthering the educational and vocational status of young people through the support of educational awareness activities and financial assistance. Scholarships are awarded on the national, regional, and chapter levels of the organization.

Delta Delta Chapter awards two annual scholarships in the month of May. The "Cherisse Massey Scholarship" and the "Delta Delta Phi-Teen Youth Auxiliary Scholarship" both extend opportunities to graduating high school seniors, or college Freshmen in Hillsborough County.

 

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

1) be a high school graduating senior,

2) have applied and been accepted to an accredited college/university, trade school, or other higher education

3) have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and above

​** Please note to qualify for the "Delta Delta Phi-Teen Youth Auxiliary Scholarship" the student must be an active member of the youth program.

 

Scholarship applications are evaluated based on Academic Achievement, Leadership, Social Awareness, Career Goals, Public Service, and Community Involvement.
