YOUTH AUXILIARY PROGRAMS
"Our Youth Are A Great Part Of Our Organization"
The Youth Auxiliary programs are youth mentoring groups sponsored by the local chapters of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. As role models in our communities, Delta Delta Chapter works diligently to plan and implement new and innovative ways to impact our youth. The purpose of our Youth Auxiliaries are for guiding and training youth in the educational, refinement and cultural process by providing programs and activities that intrigue and challenge them. Today's youth are very talented and full of potential. The members of Delta Delta Chapter understand that there is a need for positive influences in our communities and schools. Our goal is to continue educating, empowering and challenging our youth. We believe it is our duty, as business and professional women, to introduce necessary skills to our youth and to prepare them for their futures.

In order to nurture our youth, Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. has implemented the following as part of its organizational structure:
-
Rosebuds (Girls, Ages 8 years-12 years)
-
Phi-Teens (Young Ladies, Ages 13-College Sophomore)
-
Junior Cavaliers (Boys, Ages 8 years-12 years)
-
Cavaliers (Young Men, Ages 13-College Sophomore)

Delta Delta Chapter currently offers only the Rosebuds and Phi-Teens Youth Auxiliary programs. Our youth auxiliaries are responsible for conducting monthly meetings and participating in monthly community service projects. We look forward to the great things that are to come of our "mentorship" with our youth!

How will my child benefit from
being a part of the Youth Auxiliary?

As a parent, preparing your child for the future while providing chances for growth is always on your mind. Your child will ...
-
Meet Friends: Your child will have the chance to meet new friends outside of their school and neighborhood.
-
Leadership: Your child will have chances to take on leadership roles such as officer or project leader.
-
Career: Exposure to adults working in a variety of career and leadership roles.
-
Volunteering: Learn the importance of helping our community. This time can used to meet school requirements.
-
Job/interview skills: Phi-Teens will learn how to fill out job applications, create resumes and learn interview skills to help them compete for the jobs they want.
